ooc: Kingdom Hearts and the Lost Brother
Nov. 10th, 2012 11:20 pmIn the Kingdom of Hearts there was a boy who was born second. His big brother was competent and caring. He was very cheerful and loved by the whole kingdom. He was strong and smart. Most all, he loved the people. The two always enjoyed each others company. And the youngest enjoyed supporting his brother anyway he can.
However, the tides changed when the King and Queen announced that the youngest son was to inherit the kingdom. They saw him fit to rule over the kingdom. They said, he had the power that only a true monarch of the red kingdom possessed.
He begged his parents to reconsider. He loved his brother so much. He thought that only his big brother should rule, because he was capable. He begged his parents to change their minds, because it would hurt the eldest brother. But their parents were cold, and denied his heartfelt request.
His big brother just smiled at him as he fled the kingdom. That smile broke the would-be king's heart. His brother was never meant to be alone. He was meant to have what they gave him. He was meant to be loved by all.
Ever since then, the king strove hard to meet his expectations of himself. He would always think, 'what would brother do'.
The day his brother left, was the same day that his heart broke.
